Mutation: Jacob can create duplicates of himself. He creates up to four multiples that emerge from his body. They are semi-intelligent and appear to be made of some kind of psychic material. Each of the multiples can fly, is stronger than human and has a form of armor. Jacob acts as their host body, nourishing and healing them.

History: Jacob was born with blue blood and a silver spooon in his mouth. Born into a pharmaceuticals family in New England, Jacob never wanted for much in his early youth. Raised more by nannies and deans of preparatory schools than his own family, Jacob still grew into a jovial child. he found some amount of pride from his parents in athletics, so he pursued that field with a vengeance, becoming a top athlete in crew, boxing, and lacrosse.

Everything went fairly well for a while. he was happy, athletic, social and gentlemanly. However all that nearly ended when he found his mutant power at the age of 14. While at home on vacation from one of the prep schools, he became lonely. Suddenly a new shape, one of his multiples, was in his room, there to act as a playmate. At first he kept his power a secret merely because he liked having this secret friend, but as time passed he realized how mutants were viewed in society. He vowed never to be viewed negatively by prejudice.

Jacob continued to live his life as normally as possible, hiding his powers. He would practice with his multiples when he was sure no one was around and grew in power and talent. At 18 he enrolled in Brown University. Increasingly he became dissatisfied with hiding his power. When he found out about Xavier's school and its real purpose, he convinced hisparents to allow him to transfer without telling them the hidden agenda of the school.
