History: Born to a well off family in New york City, Lance lived a relitavely normal life. Growing up, he was quick to make friends and was always well liked.

In high school, the leader of the local gang was a mutant and always liked to show off his power by demonstrating it on the student body. He could create electrical fields around his body and anyone he touched would be incapacitated. One day Lance made the mistake of humiliating him in a game of basketball. He decided to make an example out of Lance in front of everyone. When he touched him, though, nothing happened. After that, rumors about him being a mutant spread throught the school and his friends started to avoid him. Soond outcasted and ignored, Lance decided to dissappear.

Over the next few years Lance discovered through experience that he was immune to more mutant's powers, and finally accepted the fact that he was a mutant himself. he decided he needed direction and guidance. After hearing about a school for people like him, he decided to enroll.
