History: Evie was born and raised in Brandon, Florida. At the age of three she was adopted by a woman who was a friend of the family. Her mother, never married, died when Evie was five, so she never had the chance to get to know her. Her adopted mother told her that she had only been adopted because her mother knew she was going to die.

While she had a normal childhood, she often realized that she and her mother (adopted) were not like normal people. Her mother often created play mates for Evie out of nothingness. Her mother also seemed just a little bit brughter than anyone around her, as if she glowed.

Her mother often taught Evie how to use her gifts. It was easy to hide it from others, since her mother owned acres of farmland that wasn't farmed. they would go deep into the land and train out there. At the age of 17 her mother found out about the Xavier institute, and enrolled Evie without her knowledge. At first Evie was angry, but then realized that it was the best thing for both of them.
