![]() Name: Dalila Meynard Mutation: Dalila has the ability to draw water out of anything, and find water anywhere (like a divining rod). She is also able to become water be psionically raising the water levels in her body. Dalila is extremely sensative to temperature; she is able to tell the differeence between people and presense in a room based on the changes in temperature and the way water evaporates off their bodies. She can also control other forms of water to some degree, steam and ice, though she has yet to exhibit any ability to manufacture either. Her skin is porous which allows her to absorb water in liquid and vapor forms through her skin and she is able to close those pores to keep the water from entering or leaving her body. If she absorbs enough water she can become a being purely made of water, and she is able to change back and forth between her water and normal forms at will. She is given to switching back and forth between the two when she is nervous or thinking. She also has a fair amount of telepathic and empathic ability. She is especially adept at recieving and projecting feelings, often unconsciously. History: Dalila was disowned by her family when she hit puberty and her powers manifested themselves. She found herself a loner in Ireland until she heard of the Xavier School. Enrolling at the afte of 17, Dalia quickly learned to control her powers, for the most part. Upon graduating from the school she was asked by the Professor is she wished to join the X-Men. Soon after that she became romantically involved with Gambit. | ![]() | ![]() |
