History: Xavier lived a somewhat priviledge life in his youth. As he reached puberty, he began hearing voices in his head, voices which sounded like those of people around him. Later on he accidentally willed his arithmetic teacher to have a heart attack. As Xavier grew older, he learned that the powers which had manifested were, in fact, mutations. This fact was revealed to him after he met Eric Lensherr, the man who would eventually be known as Magneto.

Lensherr helped Xavier build his school for young mutants, but later left Xavier to pursue his own dreams of mutant domination of earth. Xavier had a different dream, one of understanding and peace between mutants and normal humans. In order to help further his dream, Xavier created the X-Men, a group of elite mutants who help to protect a world that hates and fears them.
