Mutation: Diana has the ability to draw energy from around her and projects bolts like arrows to stun her target. She carries a bow made purely from silver, through which she draws her energy. Without the metal she is harmless, however, other metal objects can be used. Even something as small as a ring can generate a small shock, similar to an electric shock. The lesser the amount of the metals, the lesser her stun.

History: Diana grew up the only child, and her mother died at a young age leaving only her father to care for her. Her father was an artist, concentrating mainly on metal sculptures. Diana would join him in his makeshift studio each night after her schooling to watch and sometimes help him with his work. Most of the time she would find a quiet spot in the corner to sit down to study. Her favorite topic was that of the aincent Greeks, and she was facinated by all the stories. She decided at a young age that archeology was to be her chosen profession.

When she turned 15 her father let her carve details into a sculpture he was working on for her; a statue Athena, goddess of the hunt. As she sat carving delicate paterns into the tiny bow, her fingers began to tingle. She stretched her hand to flex her fingers, and a small bolt of energy blew a dish in front of her to pieces. Shocked by this she threw down the metal and refused to pick it up one more; until her father forced her to finish her work and it happened again. This time her father saw what had happened. Enquiring in a number of places, he finally found out about Xavier and his school. He met with Xavier to discuss his daughter, but Diana decided she could not leave her father alone and decided to continue living with him while hiding her powers from the outside world.

Graduating school and college with no one suspecting she was "different" she decided to leave for New York to study ancient history as well as explore her powers further. Living in halls of residence for a few years at her university, she noticed everyone's distrust for mutants and it became increasingly difficult for her to avoid contact with metal, so she decided it was time to return to Xavier's school, this time as a student.

She took with her a full size silver bow, which her father carved for her 21st birthday. After a few months at the school she was offered a position to use her power to help humanity, as a memeber of Team X.

Sadly, Diana's life came to a tragic end on a mission to rescue Scott Summers. She took a bolt of energy which Mister Sinister had fired at Gambit, and died moments later.
