Mutation: Jason has the mutant factor of Wolverine; fast healing. He can also briefly transfer these powers to someone else, almost instantly repairing any injury the person may have suffered. The mutation has certain limits, however. He can only repair wounds that do not involve major injury to the internal organs, and he can only heal one person at a time, including himself.

History: Born in Sydney, Astrailia, Jason grew up in a relatively average family. His father was a businessman, his mother a nurse.

At the age of thirteen his powers became active when his brother took a bad fall and broke his ankle. Jason ran to the boy's side and placed a hand on his ankle. His brother claimed to feel intense heat followed by the sense that his ankle had been restored. Realizing that their son was a mutant, a friend advised his parents to send him to Xavier's school.

After he graduated from the school, Professor Xavier invited him to become the leader of his new force of young mutants developing their powers for the benefit of man and mutant kind alike. This team was called Team X, and the members were mostly people who planned to become X-Men, once their abilities had reached the point necessary to become one of the elite.

In his spare time, Jason takes staff fighting lessons from the X-man Gambit. He also has a secret admiriation for current Team X member Psylocke.
