Mutation: Born as one of the new breed of mutants in Russia during World War II, Karin was thought to be one of the most powerful mutants of the time, along with her "brother" Arkady. Karin has the ability of three major elements: Fire, Ice, and Wind. She has the ability to fly as well as to create ice. Her eyes glow red and she is capable of optic blasts which can destroy anything in her path.

History: Karin was trained by the Russian military from the time when her powers were first detected. Her family had no choice but to let the army take her, as they were faced with execution if they would not comply. Years of testing, physical, and mental excersizes followed. The only person she loved and trusted was nother young mutant named Arkady.

As they years went by they formed a very close relationship, a bond that didn't seem like it could ever be broken... but Arkady did. On a mission to reclaim land for the good of Russia, Arkady destroyed a young girl's family before slowly torturing her. This was too much for Karin, who turned on Arkady. Knowing his every weakness and strength, she used her powers and froze him deep within a block of ice. She left him in the middle of nowhere where she hoped no one would ever find him.

As far as the Russian military was concerned the two mutants had been destroyed. Karin changed her appearance and lifestyle, then moved back to St. Petersburg and settled down as a normal human being... until someone decided to unfreeze her long lost brother.
